Apathy – September 24, 2017
Luke 10:32 NLT
A Temple assistant walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side.
This sermon is a call to action. As such, Christians were never created to be just an audience —apathetic. Apathy is manifest as a lack of interest, enthusiasm or concern. The word describes an apathetic person as unstable, double minded, fruitless…a heart vulnerable to sin with ears that do not hear, hands that do not do and feet that cannot stand. Listen to the audio for a even greater understanding of what it means to go and do likewise.
We all need to gain perspective, stop procrastinating, embrace discomfort, cultivate passion and ask ourselves: ‘Are we who we want to be?’ Read Luke 10:33+ check out the audio sermon. These are the times to be alert and pray.
