The Living Book – 3

Our annual “Small Group Study Sundays” are underway. The main auditorium hosts Dr. Raphael Samuel and Pastor Danny Legault teaching about “The Living Book”. Pastor Danny presents part 3 of 7 entitled “Loving the Word”.

Last week, our theme revolved around holding fast to the truth found in the Word, but it was more than just obedience, but doing so with a right attitude. In the book of Ephesians, a letter written by Paul about Christians in this area and how they progress as a church over the course of 30 years. We end up in the book of Revelation where John sends greetings to Seven churches, one of them being --the Ephesians.

In order for the body to function well, each part has to do what the designer, God, made it to do. In writing to the Ephesian church, Paul emphasizes how optimum growth occurs, when each part is operating at full capacity. Key to this growth is found not just in obedience but attitude.
