WHAT TO EXPECT

BEFORE THE SERVICE

Plan to arrive anywhere between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, find a spot to park in our lot. Depending on the Sunday, parking spaces may appear limited the later it gets. As you enter the building, our wonderful connection team will greet you at the door. Grab a coffee/tea/hot chocolate and feel free to fellowship with others or find a seat in the auditorium.

DURING THE SERVICE

We open our services with a time of corporate worship. It’s important to us that children worship together with their families. Sometimes, this doesn’t look picture-perfect, but know that little ones are always welcome, and there is a nursery available should you need it. After about 30 minutes of worship, children are dismissed to their Sunday School classes. We then listen to the message together. Typically, on the first Sunday of every month, we partake in communion together.

AFTER THE SERVICE

If you have children, you can pick them up from their Sunday School classes. Feel free to linger after the service as there is always great conversation to be had. Mingling after the service is a great way to connect with others and meet new friends.

Where are you located?

We are located in Prince George, BC at 3791 Hwy 16 W (near the Westgate subdivision). Click here for Google Map directions.

What time should I arrive?

Our worship service begins promptly at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. Prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, we host coffee and fellowship in the foyer. Join us early, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and meet some new people before finding your seat.

How long is a service?

Our services typically last about 75 minutes and are scheduled to end at 11:15 AM.

What do I wear?

There is no dress code—wear whatever feels comfortable and appropriate to you. Most of our congregants dress fairly casually.

Is there something for my kids?

Yes! There is a nursery space for parents to stay with their little ones for as long as needed during any point in the service. It is equipped with a TV streaming the service.

Additionally, for children ages 3 and older, we have Sunday School. Children join their families for worship. At approximately 11:10 AM, they are dismissed for Sunday School. Currently, we are using The Gospel Project curriculum. For more information about The Gospel Project, click here.

Is your building accessible?

Yes, our main building is fully accessible. We have four designated accessible parking spaces, a ramp leading into the building, and an accessible washroom.

Who can attend?

Westside Family Fellowship is a non-denominational church that welcomes believers and non-believers, the young and the old, singles and married individuals, as well as those with or without children. Although Westside Academy is our largest church ministry, the church is open to all and not exclusive to families with students attending Westside Academy.
